Our family, looking after yours

The Mill House Care Home has been owned by Joanne since 1994, and is lead by her daughter, Georgina. Both Joanne and Georgina really understand the importance of integrity, continuity, security and peace of mind which they maintain by their close day to day involvement.

Joanne, who is an experienced care home proprietor of 30 years, is involved with the home on a daily basis and has always had a deep commitment to the personnel support, training and development of staff to meet the demands of providing a truly dedicated service.

A measure of the quality of the Home is the consistently high ratings by the various inspectorates, as well as the number of staff that remain in post for many years.

Fostering a community of care

The Mill House Care Home enjoys support from local health professionals and others in the community who can offer services that our residents may choose to use. Services include beautician, hairdresser, entertainment, visiting pet therapy, music and art therapy.

Our Activity Co-Ordinators support our residents in maintaining existing interests, skills and relationships as well as fostering new opportunities. We welcome the interest and participation of friends and relatives in the life of the home and we are very active within the local community.

We have our own transport that enables us go out and about when the mood takes us and the sun is shining! Church services are regularly held at the home to which all are welcome.
